My opening scene was based about four kids around a campfire, these kids would be getting stalked by some supernatural creature. My opening scene was based around this idea because it was an interesting idea, this sort of thing we rarely see and I thought it was unique.
In this opening scene I said that these four kids would be minding their own business, playing games telling stories, until they hear something rustling in the bushes. This rustling would eventually grow louder and louder, until they then heard a groan, which made all the kids run away.
Overall, this opening scene is about four kids minding their business around a campfire, in which they then hear noises from the bushes around them and run away.
The symbols that would be focused on would be carved into the trees, this would be done by a knife of some sorts, to create a more realistic look.
My opening scene was supposed to be altogether but my idea was seen to contain two ideas, so the idea I am sticking with is the idea around a campfire.
Overall, with the discussion we did in class I can tell that it would be too hard to film my opening scene outdoors at night, this is due to the lack of lighting, and the hard element that is created to catch a real natural feel too lighting.
The other questions asked were also outlining how hard it would be to include the lighting, if i were to carry on filming my opening scene outside, I would probably use night vision cameras and flood lights.
With the point of lighting at night being too hard to capture, I have decided I would film my opening scene in the day.
